Tonight's homework

Hello folks, Here is the homework for tonight: Math: study for tomorrow's chapter two test! Language: the recess debate has been pushed back to Monday to give you all more time to prepare your arguments. You will have a period for this tomorrow. Thank you to those that presented today! Here is the homework for tonight. MATH: Chapter Review-We will take up any final questions tomorrow before the test on Friday. LANGUAGE: All About Me Power Points-Presentations will continue tomorrow. A big thank you to those that presented today! Graphic Organizers for Recess debate on Friday. Your final work period for this will be tomorrow.-due Friday TEST FOLDERS: Test folders have been sent home today. Please have your parents review you assessments, sign them and return them to school by Friday. REMINDERS: Friday is Civiies Day. Please bring in a $2 to take part. Monday's Work

Here is the work for today! MATH: Gr. 5: Pg/ 49#1-4 and workbook Pg. 17 Gr. 6: Pg/ 57#4-7,9 and workbook Pg. 18 Reminder that the chapter 2 test is this Friday. Start reviewing your results from your kay assessments to help you decide where you need to focus in when studying. LANGUAGE: Begin working on your arguments for the next debate on Recess by starting to fill our your graphic organizers. You will have more time to work on this in class. Friday September 21st, 2012.

Happy Weekend folks! I wanted to start by congradulating all our debaters on their terrific job this afternoon. I am very pleased with the quality of arguments that were presented by both sides today. All students were well prepared and very profesional. I am looking forward to hearing from the rest of the class in our debate next Friday! Here is the homework that you will be working on over the weekend: MATH: Gr. 5 Workbook Pg. 15 Gr. 6 Begin reviewing the chapter for the test next Friday. You will also be having another Key Assessment question next week on yesturday's lesson on rounding decimals, so be sure you are prepared for that. LANGUAGE: Begin brainstorming ideas for our next class debate. Create a web of ideas with as least 3 points for each side. Reminders that our All About Me presentations will be starting Tuesday! FULLY ALIVE: If you did not finish your work from Monday, please ensure that it is done for our next Fully Alive class on Monday. Hello Gr 5/6's, I hope that you all had a great weekend! Here is the homework for tonight: MATH: Mid Chapter Review-All questions. Quiz on Wednesday! Get Key Assessments signed and returned. LANGUAGE: Work period on the computers tomorrow afternoon for your Power Point presentation. Please bring in your computers if your parents allow you and your USB's with any needed images. FULLY AlIVE: Gr. 5: One paragraph describing yourself and your thought/feelings about grade 5. Gr. 6: Response to one of the quotes on pg. 2-3. Due Monday. SCIENCE: Gr.5: Complete study notes from video on structures. Follow up questions. Gr. 6: Four Forces on Flight worksheet Due Thursday. Weekend Homework and Reminders

Well we have made it through the first week of school! I hope that everyone is excited for the year to come. We are off to a great start! For the weekend there is not too much homework. We will be having a work period with the net books next week, so you can take some time to gather images that you would like to use for your power point and bring them in on a USB for Tuesday. You can also spend some time working with power point, maybe try some of the things that you were shown in class today. We will also be finishing up our art projects next week. Please look at home for magazines and bring them in for next week. If you have not completed the following it is done Monday: -Science Gr. 5: Pushing and Pulling Worksheet Gr. 6: Lift Off Questions #1-5,7 -Goose -Religion Title Pg As for things happening in the wider school community, softball try outs are taking place next week for grade 6-8 girls and boys. Hello folks! Here we are at the end of day three. We are getting off to great start. We have started into the math and science curriculum and our class puzzle is almost done! Thank you to everyone that brought in their agenda money today. There are just a few students who still need to bring that in.
