HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hello Gr. 5/6's! I loved everyone's costumes today! I hope that everyone had fun today, with our Halloween verison of 'the game', the costume parade and the dance. Even though it is Halloween, you still need to be prepared for tomorrow. There is no new homework, however there are a few reminders. ONE: Please bring in more materials for the science projects. Both grades will be given the afternoon tomorrow as a work period. Please ensure you and your partner are fully prepared with all the necessary materials! TWO:Math Key Assessment on 3.3 tomorrow. This was from Monday's work. THREE: Book fair notes have gone home, please share these with your parents. FOUR: Science Test Friday! Be sure you are fully prepared. Come with any questions tomorrow. Weekend Homework

Hello folks,

Here is the weekend homework:

MATH:
Since we had the quiz today there is no formal math homework, however you can always review your muplitication and division.

LANGUAGE:
We will have one more work period for the Man in the Mirror summary paragraph next week. So it is not for homework. Be sure you have a novel for silent reading for our guided reading centers for next week.

SCIENCE:
Both grades will have another period to work on their persuasive paragraphs.
Gr. 5: On the most dangerous from of weather
Gr. 6: Whether or not an airport should be built in the local wooded area
This will be due and collected for assessment next week.

REMINDERS:
Key Assessment books went home to be signed yesturday, please have your parents sign and return them asap.
TEST FOLDERS: were handed back today with three assessments. Please have your parents sign all three of these and return to school asap!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have made it to Thanksgiving! It has been a great month so far. Thank you all for the hard work that you have been displaying. Lets keep it up into the rest of October. Over the weekend there is nothing pressing to work on. Enjoy the time with your families! One thing I will ask you to keep in mind is our religion/art assignment where you will take photograph that depicts something in this world that you are grateful for. If it comes you are able to take a few photographs over the weekend that would be great. We will speak more about this next week.
